Working for social change demands more than pretty brochures and nice words. It calls for strategy, storytelling and tools that are as relevant to your audience as they are to how you work.
At DVQ Studio, we partner with people who want to get beyond buzzwords and communicate with purpose. We help organizations explore how they work, define why their mission matters to the community and evolve their tools for achieving that mission.
Our approach is rooted in getting to know your organization’s goals, culture, capacity and audiences. While we may write, design, or code at the end of the day, we begin each relationship with a practical dose of dot connecting and big picture thinking. This isn’t “shiny object” marketing – this is strategic communications that leads to a compelling story and powerful tools.
Our practical experience guides us to ask the right questions at the right time. Before founding DVQ in 2006, Gretchen worked with Girl Scouts, and Emily worked with United Way. We have also been board members and volunteers with a variety of nonprofit, philanthropic and governmental organizations.
